This policy explains what data the Size Chart Studio app ("the App", "we", "us") accesses and stores when you install it on your Shopify store, and how we handle it. We have deliberately designed the App to hold as little data as possible.

The short version

• We do not collect, store, or process any personal data about your customers (shoppers).
• Your size-chart content is stored inside your own Shopify store, not on our servers.
• We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
• You can remove all data we hold at any time by uninstalling the App.

What we access and store

When you install the App, we store the following, tied to your shop:

• Your store domain and an access token — required to authenticate the App with Shopify and let it work.
• App settings and billing state — your plan (free or paid), subscription status, trial dates, and a count of your charts. This is used to operate the free/paid tiers and your subscription.

Your actual size charts (titles, tables, images, and assignment rules) are stored as Shopify metaobjects inside your own store, using Shopify's infrastructure. They are your data, held in your store.

What we do NOT collect

The App does not access or store any personal information about your customers — no names, emails, addresses, orders, or browsing behaviour. The storefront size-chart display reads chart content directly from Shopify and does not send any shopper data to us.

How we use the data

Solely to provide the App: authenticating with Shopify, displaying and managing your size charts, and operating your subscription and the free/paid tiers. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Where your data is processed (subprocessors)

• Shopify — hosts your store, your size-chart metaobjects, and processes subscription billing.
• Render (render.com) — hosts the App server and its database, where the shop-scoped data above is stored.

Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the App, we delete the shop-scoped data we hold (your access token and app/billing settings). In line with Shopify's requirements, we also honour Shopify's privacy webhooks:

• Customer data request / redact — we hold no customer personal data, so there is nothing to return or erase.
• Shop redact — approximately 48 hours after uninstall, we erase any remaining shop-scoped data from our database.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about your shop. Because we hold only the limited shop-scoped data described above, uninstalling the App removes it. For any request, contact us using the details below.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
